Thank you for your interest in the New Milford Swim Club. The Swim Club is locatedbehind our Boro Hall at the end of Trotta Drive. Our Swim Club has seven acres ofproperty with many shade trees. The facility has two large pools, one of which is heated,the other which is equipped with lap lanes and is fed by well water. Both pools areequipped with diving boards. Next to our heated pool we have a completely fenced inkiddy pool. It is a graduated depth pool with ample seating around it. The kiddy pool areais landscaped, has many shaded areas and an outdoor changing station for infants andtoddlers. There are lifeguards at all open pools at all times. We have bathrooms, showers,and changing areas for all our members. Also, available are vending machines,refrigerators, picnic tables and grills for cooking. The grounds are well equipped withstraight back and lounging chairs as well as umbrellas. The club offers paddle tenniscourts, volleyball, basketball, shuffleboard, ping-pong, playground equipment and much more.
Children of our full time and part time members may join our swim team, dive team,water ballet and may attend our evening teen and pre teen events. Any excellent swimmerwho is at least 15 years of age may take our lifeguard certification course. We also offerfamily evening events during our season. The pool offers free to all adult members a dailywater exercise class .All members are sent the clubs rules and regulations and a calendarwith event dates and descriptions with their membership cards.
We have three types of membership:Full Time Membership. Full time members must pay the bond money of $500. anda non-refundable application fee of $149.80*. These two fees total $649.80 and are ONETIME FEES. All paid bond money is refunded when the member resigns by letter and isreplaced by a new member. Every Full Time Family pays an annual dues ($663.40* for2011). You will be billed annually in February for the dues and it is payable by May 1stFull time membership in total for the first year is $1313.20* Full time members have norestrictions on when they can use the pool during operating hours (the pool is open sevendays a week). They may bring guests to the club for a fee and may have free grouplessons for their children. They may also purchase private swim lessons with a lifeguard.The season for full time members runs from late May until mid Sept.Weekday Membership. Weekday members pay only the annual dues (for 2011families membership is $663.40 *).Weekday Members may use the club weekdays only,from noon till closing, no holidays, and may not bring guests or have free group swimlessons. Weekday members can join our swim, dive teams and water ballet. Weekdayapplications are available in March.
The season for Weekday members runs from mid June until early Sept.Weeknight Membership. Weeknight members pay a fee of $438.70 for a family. Weeknightmembers may use the club Monday thru Friday from 4PM to 8PM. They may not bring guests, join theswim team or have free group swim lessons. Weekight applications are available in March.The season for Weeknight members runs from mid June to early SeptPayments may be made by check, money order, cash or credit card. Payment plansare also available.
